Handyman

The Yacht Club Handyman plays a key role in maintaining the clubhouse and docks to ensure they remain safe, functional, and welcoming for members and guests. This hands-on position involves a variety of repair, maintenance, and improvement projects both indoors and outdoors, with a focus on timely and high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs in the clubhouse, including minor plumbing, carpentry, and small appliance troubleshooting.
Assist with dock upkeep, including basic repairs, safety checks, and general maintenance.
Operate and maintain power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Complete small-scale improvement projects as directed by the Facilities Manager.
Identify potential maintenance issues and report them promptly.
Support event setup and takedown when needed.
Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and safe at all times.

Qualifications:
Experience with general maintenance, basic plumbing, carpentry, and small appliance repair.
Comfort and skill using a variety of power and hand tools.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials and equipment.
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Work Environment:
This role involves both indoor work in the clubhouse and outdoor work on the docks. The position requires mobility across multiple areas of the property and interaction with club members and guests.
