Carpenter/Painter

The Position:

We require someone who is able to execute carpentry repairs on houses and townhouses prior to painting. If the carpentry work is exhausted on a project, we can use you as a painter on the project. Most of our projects require some carpentry work prior to painting. This would include replacing siding or fascia boards etc. Sub-contracting as a carpenter is also an option. Our current need is for a job in Richmond.
We are generally looking for an honest, hardworking person, who is able to work on their own or in a group setting to carry out the daily duties assigned to them. An ability to take direction, and adapt to changing scenarios while maintaining high quality standards and bringing tasks in on budget. The successful candidate will enjoy working in an inclusive environment and find the support for personnel and professional growth

Qualifications:
Strong carpentry skills.
Ability to replace siding, fascia boards etc on houses and townhouses.
Experience in the painting industry is an asset.
Strong work ethic.
Attention to detail.
The ability to follow instructions and learn our systems.
Pride in workmanship.
Experience using basic painting tools is an asset.
Fall Safety Certification an asset but not required.

Compensation:

Pay to be determined based on experience and skill sets.
Hourly Employment.
Sub Contract as a Carpenter if preferred.
