Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team in a fast-paced, precision metal manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for line-side delivery and pickup, managing warehouse inventory, and supporting the production floor. This role requires maintaining stock movement from warehouse locations to the production floor and organizing customer containers efficiently. The position requires availability throughout the shift to provide ongoing support.

Responsibilities

• Support the production floor with line-side delivery and pickup.

• Dump scrap and maintain truck wells.

• Organize pallets and maintain cardboard waste.

• Control the movement of stock from warehouse to production floor.

• Maintain organization of customer containers to and from the production line.

• Perform housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe work environment.

Essential Skills

• 2 years of warehouse experience.

• Proficiency in material handling and order picking.

• Experience with stand-up forklifts, RF scanners, and pallet jacks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with stand-up electric forklifts is preferred.

• Chauffeur's license is an advantage.

Work Environment

The work environment is set in a clean manufacturing facility focusing on metal exhaust systems for the automotive industry. The job site is located in the 1201 Building, equipped with automated tube benders, welder machines, and material handling robots. The environment is fast-paced, with some areas being louder due to machinery. Compliance with all PPE and safety requirements is mandatory, including wearing steel-toe shoes at all times. Safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection will be provided.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
