Job Overview:

CCS Construction Staffing is hiring mechanical plumbers for a project in Suffolk, VA. This role requires experience with refrigerant piping and working on HVAC systems for cold storage. Candidates should be skilled in brazing copper lines, PVC drain installation, and general mechanical plumbing tasks.

Work Scope Includes:

• Brazing copper refrigerant lines for HVAC systems

• Installing and supporting PVC drain lines with hangers and fittings

• Assembling PVC piping, including tees and pressure testing

• Working with cold storage HVAC systems

• Collaborating with other trades to ensure efficient installation

• Following OSHA and site safety procedures

Requirements:

• 3+ years of mechanical plumbing experience

• Proven experience with refrigerant piping and brazing copper lines

• Must have own plumbing tools and full PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, vest, steel-toe boots)

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

• Reliable transportation

• OSHA 10 preferred (certification assistance available)
