We're looking for a driven and detail-oriented Estimator to join a growing team. In this role, you'll help lead the pricing and proposal process for a variety of construction projectsanalyzing specs, developing estimates, coordinating subcontractors, and supporting leadership with accurate, data-backed financial planning.

You'll collaborate with professionals across the organizationincluding operations, consultants, contractors, and accounting teamsto develop complete, high-quality project proposals. If you have a strong eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for preconstruction strategy, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do:

Develop cost estimates by analyzing drawings, specs, and performing takeoffs

Support design-build projects with conceptual estimates using limited information

Lead subcontractor outreach, RFP management, bid leveling, and scope definition

Coordinate technical input from internal teams and subject matter experts

Create and review comprehensive proposals, including bid documents, narratives, and pricing strategies

Evaluate risk, identify gaps, and recommend creative solutions

Present estimates and recommendations to upper management

Estimate new and retrofit construction efforts and LEED product compliance

Maintain client and partner relationships while actively identifying new opportunities

Participate in continuous improvement and company growth initiatives

What You Bring:

Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent work experience)

4+ years of estimating or related construction experience

Strong math, data analysis, and strategic planning skills

Proficiency with spreadsheets, PDF editing software, and database tools

Ability to read and interpret complex construction documents

Exceptional communication and presentation abilities

Familiarity with sustainable/LEED specifications a plus

ICEAA, ASPE, or PMI certifications preferred

Bonus If You Have:

Field experience or a background in hands-on construction

Experience developing bids between multiple trades or project types

Creative thinking and a proactive approach to estimating and preconstruction

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods

Comfort navigating construction sites as needed

Ability to lift up to 15 lbs occasionally
