About the role Were hiring a hands-on, organized, and driven Assistant Project Manager/Project Coordinator to help manage construction projects from bid to close-out. This hybrid role offers a mix of administrative work and field time, with opportunities to grow within the company. Full-time | Hybrid (Office + Field) This hybrid role includes a mix of on-site field office and remote/office-based coordination to oversee and report on field operations. What you'll do An Assistant PM in our company will be responsible for the following key tasks: Support Project Managers and Superintendents throughout the entire project lifecycle Assist with bidding, startup tasks, subcontractor coordination, and project close-out Maintain RFIs, submittals, punch lists, photos, and project records Update construction schedules in coordination with field personnel and the project PM Oversee material and equipment delivery Perform on-site reports covering personnel, equipment, materials, and daily activity Help prepare and organize job site and office files, logs, and compliance documentation Type correspondence, meeting minutes, and prepare project documentation Obtain quotes for materials and subcontractor work Maintain shop and site supply inventories Assist estimators and field teams as needed Support special projects and maintain a clean, professional job site Travel to project sites as needed Qualifications Definite Requirements: 2+ years of experience in the construction industry High school diploma or GED Understanding of the construction contract process (bid, startup, tracking, close-out) Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Reader Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly organized with excellent follow-through and attention to detail Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and walk job sites Willingness to travel to job sites and take direction Must be able to read basic plans and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and climbing stairs Ideal Candidate Attributes: Experience in heavy civil or marine construction is a plus Professional and helpful demeanor with a positive, team-first attitude Strong time management skills and ability to meet critical deadlines Eager to grow within the construction management field Takes pride in their work and views feedback as a learning opportunity Capable of balancing multiple responsibilities while maintaining quality The pay range for this role is: 23 - 30 USD per hour(Hybrid (Daytona Beach, Florida, US) PI69898b35f7d9-31...
