General Laborer

We're seeking an individuals to join a busy manufacturing team as Paint Preppers. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy hands-on work and being part of a collaborative environment. Shift Details Day Shift : Monday-Friday Full-time position with consistent hours Role Overview As a Paint Prep Technician , you'll play a crucial role in the early stages of the manufacturing process. Every product must be prepped before painting, and you'll be responsible for ensuring parts are clean and ready for the paint team. A Day in the Life Work in a team-oriented environment prepping metal parts of various sizesfrom small components to large machine parts Physically active role : standing for up to 10 hours/day, lifting up to 25 lbs (always with a partner), sanding, and power washing Outdoor work : You'll be in a covered, open-air workspace exposed to the elements Scenic perk : The facility is located near a river in downtown Petaluma, offering a pleasant work setting Safety & Equipment Full PPE provided : filtration mask, protective suit, goggles/shields, gloves Use of motorized sanders for large parts; hand sanding for smaller components Power washing partsexpect to get a little wet! The team has a significant backlog , so your help will make an immediate impact Great for individuals who enjoy manual labor , car washing , or general labor tasks Skills Experience with spray painting metal or automotive painting may qualify you for advanced roles Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
