Sheet Metal/Duct Fabricator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team here at G & S Mechanical. We are an HVAC company with a number of projects requiring a great deal of metal work. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in various metal fabrication processes. This role involves working with different materials to create and assemble metal structures, ensuring high-quality standards and precision in every project.

Duties

Fabricating sheet metal and duct work.
Knowledge how to use and maintain shop tools.
Able to successfully manage others and take charge of individual jobs/projects
High attention to detail
Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.
Take accurate measurements of materials, mark cutting lines, and assist in the cutting process to ensure precision.
Frequently lifting and carrying metal materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively for extended shifts in physically demanding conditions, with stamina to withstand the demands of repetitive tasks.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Experience

2+ years experience in sheet metal and ductwork.
Proven experience in metal fabrication or a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with the plasma cutting equipment.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Pay $16-$30
