Project Manager Residential Construction

We are a fast-growing builder/remodeler of residential homes seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and responsible individual to join our administrative team, help manage our construction projects, and support our office function.

Position Overview
The Project Manager will work closely with our Crews, other Project managers, and the Operations Manager, as well as with clients, designers, and architects, to ensure smooth coordination of all project details. This role requires someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and who has a strong committed team attitude and a growth mindset, as all of our client relationships are unique.
Key Responsibilities (including, but not limited to)
Update and maintain project schedules; distribute updates weekly.
Assist in preparing proposals, estimates, and change orders.
Support and strengthen client relationships.
Ensure adherence to project specifications, goals, and client objectives.
Manage permits and permitting requirements.
Coordinate systems related to estimating, client design specifications, project accounting, schedules, and timelines to support effective project management.

Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of:
General construction and maintenance methods/materials.
Basic budgeting and accounting principles.
Seattle permitting processes.
Ability to:
Manage expectations, information, and systems using Google Workspace.
Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
Prepare accurate materials take-offs.
Work independently without supervision.
Collaborate effectively with a team.
Follow written and verbal instructions.
Prepare clear reports and documentation.
Communicate effectively in person and in writing.
Work efficiently in fast-paced environments with deadlines.
Occasionally work evenings or weekends (rare).
Minimum Requirements
5+ years of experience in construction or a construction-related field.
Strong multi-tasking, organization, and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Self-starter with a goal-oriented mindset.
Problem-solving skills with a creative, solutions-based approach.
Valid drivers license and auto insurance (per state requirements).
Reliable transportation.
