Equipment Operator Job Description As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various heavy machinery, including front-end loaders, dump trucks, and skid steers. Your role involves moving materials, loading trucks, and maintaining work areas while ensuring safety procedures are followed. This position may require overtime and rotating shifts. Responsibilities Operate equipment safely and efficiently to move and load materials. Perform basic maintenance such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning equipment. Complete safety and task training as required. Follow instructions and accurately fill out inspection reports. Understand equipment mechanics and adhere to safety regulations.
