Job Description
Join our team as a Fabricator in an industrial setting where you'll play a vital role in processing parts and fabricating metal pieces. Your responsibilities will include measuring materials, cutting, punching holes, and utilizing a variety of tools to drill, cut, and shape steel. Responsibilities
Measure and cut materials accurately according to specifications.
Punch holes and utilize various tools for drilling, cutting, and shaping steel.
Operate equipment such as saws, plasma cutters, and hand torches safely and efficiently.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure high-quality fabrication of metal pieces.
Essential Skills
Proficient use of saws, hand tools, and power tools in an industrial setting.
Experience with fabrication processes and equipment such as plasma cutters and welding.
Ability to use a tape measure and read measurements to 1/16", 1/8", and 1/4".
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preferred experience in an industrial setting.
Experience with structural steel fabrication.

Work Environment
Work is performed in a structural steel fabrication shop that creates architectural parts for buildings, such as stairs and railings. This is a first shift position, with hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The shop emphasizes safety, teamwork, and high-quality production.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bernalillo, New Mexico.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
