Job Description

We are seeking skilled millwrights for our Field Service Technician roles, offering an opportunity for those who may need some training. The ideal candidate will work on diverse projects that change daily, traveling throughout New Jersey to service a wide range of clients, including manufacturing, food processing, hospitals, and institutions.

Responsibilities

• Travel to various client locations in New Jersey to perform maintenance and repairs.

• Work on diverse projects that may vary in duration from several weeks to a single day.

• Use a variety of tools such as wrenches, drills, and core drills for maintenance tasks.

• Read and comprehend blueprints and technical specifications.

• Perform field welding, pipe fitting, and setting & aligning of equipment.

• Engage in rigging tasks as needed.

• Contribute to projects involving duct work, ventilation systems, and fencing.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial or institutional mechanical maintenance position.

• Proficiency in reading and comprehending blueprints and technical specifications.

• Experience with field welding, pipe fitting, and setting & aligning of equipment.

• Strong mechanical and tool experience, including the use of hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in sanitary welding or orbital welding (TIG, MIG, STICK) is a plus.

• Experience with duct work and ventilation systems is advantageous.

• Ability to work with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

• High School or Trade School diploma required.

• Knowledge of basic math.

• A valid and clean NJ or PA drivers license and own transportation.

Work Environment

Work is primarily conducted during the 1st Shift from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Overtime is required based on client needs. The team currently consists of 11 field service technicians, and we aim to expand by hiring four more. Candidates will eventually receive their own company truck

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
