What You'll Be Doing Operate haul trucks and other heavy mobile equipment to transport raw materials within the quarry. Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on equipment. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure safe and efficient operations. Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations. Assist with general labor and clean-up duties as needed. What Are We Looking For Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a quarry or similar environment. Strong awareness of safety practices and hazard recognition. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn and adapt to changing operational needs. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check. Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level. Physical Demands of the Job Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment. Frequent walking, standing, bending, and climbing on and off equipment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Manual dexterity and visual acuity required to operate controls and monitor equipment. Tolerance for working in dusty, noisy, and outdoor environments for long durations.
