Founded in 1867, Aronson's has continued to work with clients to design, supply and install innovative floor covering solutions. Our projects involve furnishing luxury hotels, hospital complexes, residential apartment buildings and corporate building interiors.Job Description: This is a full-time position for an experienced professional who is familiar with luxury residential interior designs and / or commercial and residential building architecture, to conduct inside sales and manage projects, at our by-appointment only showroom. This position is particularly well-suited for a licensed architect or design professional looking to transition into a more predictable, design-focused roleoffering a high standard of professional engagement, reduced stress, and continued financial stability. Responsibilities: The Project Manager is responsible for the full life cycle of a project - from meeting potential clients, writing proposals to project initiation to revenue collection, and to project completion. Qualifications: - A minimum of five (5) years of full-time professional experience working in interior design, residential and commercial architecture, high-end home furnishings, or related fields. - Sales or project management experience working with architects, interior designers, general contractors ideal and preferred, but not required. - A minimum of two (2) years of experience working with floor plans and cost estimates preferred, but no required. - A college degree in design, architecture, or related fields preferred, but not required. Knowledge and skills: - Exceptional people-relationship skills -- know how to find and keep friends. - Professional written and verbal communications. - General office and computer skills required. - Proficient in Vectorworks, CAD, or Callidus software. - Ability to read and interpret floor plans using a scale ruler. - Familiar with Apple Mail, iPhone Apps. - Familiar with Apple Mail, iPhone Apps.
