Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Chief Financial Officer Celebrating 75 years as a non-profit provider of services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Onondaga County, Arc of Onondaga is looking to fill the position of Chief Financial Officer. Summary of Responsibilities: Establishment of Agency's financial planning and accounting policies and procedures Oversight and management of cash flow, Agency investments, financial audits and audit controls, relationships with lending institutions, financial reporting, insurance levels and regulatory compliance Serves as a part of the agency's executive management team, working closely with the Executive Director and other key staff in establishing and fulfilling overall agency goals Oversight/development of agency operating and capital budgets, working closely with agency management Financial management and reporting of the Arc of Onondaga Foundation Establishment and maintenance of relationships with senior administrators of the Agency's funding sources and ensures that all required financial documentation and reports are maintained Resourceful, interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills to handle complex and/or sensitive issues with diverse people both inside and outside of the organization Supervision of senior management staff as assigned Requirements for Position: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related business field 5-10 years non-profit accounting and financial management Combination of education and experience which, in the judgement of the employer, equals above standards CPA preferred OPWDD experience preferred Enjoy a Variety of Benefits: Work-life balance in a family friendly organization Paid holidays Vacation, sick and personal time Medical, dental and vision insurance Employer funded Health Savings Account 401(k) plan with employer match Enhanced employer paid short- and long-term disability insurance plans Employer paid life insurance
