Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a CAD Designer on behalf of our client, a Pittsburgh area engineering consultant
Duties:
Create 2D and 3D models and construction documents for water & wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, force mains, distribution networks, gravity sewers, lift stations, and other utility structures.
Work alongside civil, mechanical, and structural engineers to translate design concepts into detailed CAD drawings that meet project specs and local/state standards.
Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and consistency with CAD standards.
Assist with revisions based on field notes, markups, or feedback from engineers, field staff, or permitting agencies.
Conduct occasional site visits to collect data and confirm existing conditions.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
Associate degree in Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) or related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in CAD design, preferably related to water/wastewater systems or civil infrastructure.
AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience
Strong attention to detail, and your drawings are clean, accurate, and rock-solid.
Good Communication skills
Microsoft Office
