Heavy Equipment Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position
$21.00 to $26.00 /hour
Full Time work available
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 05:00pm)
Operate excavators and other heavy equipment to dig trenches, foundations, and other earthworks.
Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
Collaborate with site supervisors and crew members to ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
Use GPS and laser systems for precise excavation.
Load and unload materials as required. Clear construction sites of debris and obstructions.
Heavy Equipment Operator Qualifications:
Must have 2-3 years of previous heavy equipment operating experience (Excavators, Mini Ex, Skid steers, Loaders, Trenchers).
Must be able to effectively perform manual labor duties; Digging, shoveling, and clean up
Effective communication is necessary for understanding instructions, reporting issues, and working as part of a team.
Applicant may be subject to a background check
Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
