THE ROLE - HVAC Project Manager

The HVAC Project Manager oversees all aspects of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning projects, from initial planning and design to final installation and closeout. This role is crucial for ensuring that projects are completed on time, withing budget, and to the required quality standards.

OVERVIEW - HVAC Project Manager

Job Title: HVAC Project Manager

Reports to: VP of HVAC Installation

Department: HVAC Installation

Direct Reports: None

Location: Lynbrook, NY

FLSA Category: Exempt

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES - HVAC Project Manager

• Perform filed coordination of all HVAC trades
• Review material and equipment submittals and release for fabrication
• Prepare change order scopes and pricing
• Attend on-site job meetings
• Prepare monthly billing
• Review subcontractor and vendor invoicing
• Write business correspondence via both email and letters
• Prepare close out documentation

REQUIREMENTS - HVAC Project Manager

• High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred
• At least 5 years' experience as a Project Manager
• Project Management Professional (PMP) a plus
• A deep understanding of various HVAC systems, equipment, and technologies
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially when working with construction managers, general contractors, and owners
• Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team, this includes field personnel and subcontractors
• A knack for identifying and resolving issues that arise during a project
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS - HVAC Project Manager

Salary Range: $60,000-$100,000
