- Perform engineering calculations, including structural analysis of poles, cable pulling, electric demand, fault currents, and coordination of protective devices.
- Prepare forestry trimming requests and facilitate permit and Right-of-Way acquisition.
- Develop a Bill of Materials (BOM) and estimate project costs.
- Focus on design development and coordination (90% of the time) with occasional fieldwork (10%).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Study Electrical engineering with a focus on Power Distribution.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
- Teamwork and leadership skills.
- Completed ABET-accredited 4-year Engineering Degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical.
- Experience with CAD design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Solidworks, MicroStation, Inventor, or MATLAB.
- Passion and interest in Power Utilities and Distribution.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License.
