Jr. Estimator

Immediate need for a Jr. Estimator at this high-end Building Materials company. In this position you will be responsible for the following:

Review architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents to understand scope and project requirements

Assist in quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for supply, fabrication, and installation

Prepare RFQs and communicate with vendors for pricing on materials and subcontracted services

Organize and maintain estimating documentation, bid files, and project history records

Attend job walks or site visits as needed to support scope evaluation

Support the preparation of proposals and bid packages for clients

Collaborate with internal departments including sales, procurement, and project management to ensure alignment

Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and project delivery methods

Requirements:
-Prior experience working in construction with a high end building materials or architectural design firm ideal for success in this position

- Associates or Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)
