Press Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled press operator who possesses a keen attention to detail and is willing to work in a hot environment. This role requires mechanical skills and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting. The candidate should be capable of pushing and pulling heavy tooling. Responsibilities Operate press machinery efficiently and safely. Ensure precise assembly and machine operation. Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and experience in technical work. Utilize measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers accurately. Exhibit flexibility by learning different departments and performing various tasks as needed. Maintain high energy and initiative by staying busy and productive. Meet production goals while working with minimal supervision. Essential Skills Mechanical skills and technical work experience. Proficiency with hand tools, calipers, and blueprint reading. Experience with press brake, punch press, and fabrication. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior manufacturing and machine operating experience preferred. Mathematical skills and ability to perform basic computer functions. Capability for minimal data entry and counting tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of POST FALLS, Idaho.
