About Us:
Stewart Construction is a General Contractor specializing in both commercial and residential construction projects. We're currently seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to manage a small crew with a focus on the exterior package for our Seminary Street project in Middlebury, VT. We're dedicated to developing motivated individuals who are ready to grow and thrive in the construction industry.

Position Overview:
As Lead Carpenter, you'll be responsible for overseeing and participating in the completion of exterior work including:
Siding installation
Trim and soffits
Window and door installation
Deck and porch construction

You'll need to read and interpret construction drawings, manage daily crew activities, and align work with project budgets and timelines.

Qualifications:
Strong carpentry skills, particularly in exterior residential/commercial work
Ability to read blueprints and understand project scope
Leadership experience managing small crews
Reliable, organized, and safety-conscious

Compensation & Benefits:
Pay range: $25-$35/hour, based on experience
