Structural Engineer (Multiple Positions) (Stantec Consulting Services Inc.; Bellevue, WA): Perform structural evaluation and analysis of hydraulic structures using finite element analysis software and engineering tools. Perform site visits of structural systems to evaluate and inspect work in progress and completed projects for compliance with specifications and applicable codes. Prepare calculations, studies, design criteria, design reports, plans and specifications, and other contract documents for engineering projects. Mentor entry-level and junior structural engineering staff. Work directly with other engineering disciplines and project staff throughout the project life cycle. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.). Salary range is $131,373 - $180,800 per year. Requirements:
Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field, and 15 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 10 years of experience with the following: Finite element analysis software including SAP2000, ANSYS, and STADD; Design and analysis of locks, dams, flood protection facilities, and hydraulic structures; and Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) software including AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, or MicroStation.
Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following: Applying USACE, USBR, and UFC criteria to design of new structures and evaluation of existing structures.
Must have an active U.S. Professional Engineer License.
Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days a week.
Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 10%.
