The Inventory / Yard Control Supervisor is a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in keeping things organized and running smoothly. This role will supervise the receiving of goods purchased, the shipping of product to outside sources, and ensuring our supply chain runs with accuracy, efficiency and excellence.

Main Responsibilities
As the Inventory & Yard Control Supervisor, you’ll oversee daily operations for receiving, shipping, and inventory management while mentoring your team and driving continuous improvement.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leadership & Training – Coach and support material handlers and receivers, ensuring safe and efficient practices.
- Inventory Accuracy – Oversee cycle counts, stockroom/yard organization, and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Process Improvement – Identify and implement smarter, more efficient ways to manage materials flow.
- Communication – Act as the link between operations, supply chain, and internal customers to keep things moving seamlessly.
- Yard & Facility Oversight – Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized yard and stockroom environment.
Experience, Attributes, Skills and Education
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (Visual Manufacturing experience a bonus), and documentation.
- Ability to lead by example with a calm, professional approach in fast-paced or high-pressure situations.
- Forklift experience and knowledge of heavy equipment parts (an asset).
- Education or certification in Supply Chain Management (an asset).
Working Environment
- Leduc-based role, both indoors and outdoors.
- Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm (overtime during peak periods).
- Safety-first culture (PPE provided).
- Active role requiring regular lifting, standing, and yard work.
Shift Availability
- Days Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm
- When our shop is busy, overtime is scheduled and expected
