Job Summary:

Repsol, Renewables NA is seeking a Manager, Procurement Estimator, to provide support to the Procurement department by supporting multiple competitive bid processes, for all services related to the development, design and construction of wind, solar, and battery storage projects. This position will also support Procurements organization and process team with any request for CAPEX and OPEX estimates. This position will report to the Head of BOP Procurement.

The position is based in Downtown Houston with a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Proactively, scan the market, to understand supply and demand balance, evolution of margin, cost structures, etc. in accordance with the Business project portfolio.
  • Assist with the creation and documentation of the required scope of work (BoQ) for the bid process that can be used at all levels of the organization
  • Consolidate all the procurement inputs (equipment and materials) to provide consistent and reliable information to the M&A team or any Stakeholder requesting this type of information (equity investor, partners).
  • Serve as a liaison between the Procurement, Development, Engineering, Project Management, and Finance departments
  • Manage relationships and interfaces with suppliers during the RFI process, indicative offers, etc.
  • Build and update a database of CAPEX and OPEX cost to support and improve the estimates for the projects.
  • Support estimates for the Annual Budget and its updates. Manage as well as engage the documentation with the assumptions and bases of the estimates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a Business-related field, Engineering or Construction
  • 5+ years of professional related supply chain, business operations, engineering, construction management, or industry manufacturing experience, including experience with cost estimates
  • Experience with procurement, contract and project management in BOP for Solar and Battery Storage Projects preferred. Experience in Wind BOP Procurement will be valuable too.
  • Thorough knowledge of the competitive operation and maintenance services bid process, for construction and engineering services and as well as main equipment and materials supply
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software and familiarity with e-enabled supply chain systems (e.g.- Data Rails)
  • Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Strong Communication, Customer/Partner Relationships, and Technology Expertise. (Preferred).
  • Availability to travel is required.

Behavioral requirements:

  • Familiarity with "e"-enabled supply chain systems (e.g.- web-based systems, SAP ARIBA and SAP4HANA)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Written and verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to be self-motivated and high attention to details
  • Exemplary standards of integrity, safety, ethics, quality, and productivity
