Senior Architect

Position Overview \nWatermark Design Group is seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Senior Architect with a minimum of 10 years of experience to lead complex architectural projects from conceptual design through construction administration. \nThis role combines exceptional design and technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities and a proven track record of successful project delivery. You will collaborate closely with clients to define project vision and scope, while mentoring and guiding junior team members. \nThis position offers the opportunity to influence firm-wide best practices, ensure technical excellence, and drive client satisfaction. \n\nKey Responsibilities \n\n\nLead and manage architectural design for complex commercial, industrial, and municipal projects. \n \n\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions. \n \n\nMentor and guide junior staff to foster professional development and growth. \n \n\nManage client relationships, project budgets, and schedules to ensure successful outcomes. \n \n\nOversee construction documentation and administration, ensuring adherence to quality standards. \n \n\nPromote a culture of technical excellence, efficiency, and best practices across the firm. \n \n \n\nRequired Skills and Qualifications \n\n\nExtensive architectural expertise across commercial, industrial, and municipal applications. \n \n\nStrong technical proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant software. \n \n\nProven project management experience, including managing budgets, schedules, and client expectations. \n \n\nDemonstrated leadership, team-building, and strategic thinking abilities. \n \n\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills. \n \n\nIn-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards. \n \n\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. \n \n \n\nEducation and Experience \n\n\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. \n \n\nMinimum of 10 years of experience as a Licensed Architect. \n \n\nLicensure in the State of Alabama is required, with the ability to obtain licenses in other states where Watermark practices. \n \n ","
