Facilities Maintenance Mechanic

The Facilities Maintenance mechanic is responsible for providing hands-on support across the facility, ensuring the operation and upkeep of both infrastructure and production equipment. The position includes mechanical and structural maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and repairs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a full-time opportunity with the potential for permanent placement based on performance and operational need.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Essential Functions
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on building systems and production machinery
Diagnose and repair equipment issues across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and CNC
systems and machines .
Support equipment uptime by performing light CNC edits, adjustments, and performance checks
Maintain and repair facility components .
Replace HVAC filters and maintain drainage lines to prevent buildup or failure
Track repairs, inspections, and service requests through maintenance software
Coordinate with outside vendors and internal departments for specialized repair projects
Conduct safety checks and assist with general workplace improvements
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
Familiarity with tools, equipment, and repair procedures across multiple trades
Ability to interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manuals
Comfortable using maintenance software or digital work order systems
Professional communication and collaborative mindset
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
Education and Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial or facility maintenance
Experience with CNC systems, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical maintenance
Basic computer skills for documentation and communication
Work Conditions and Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of standing, bending, climbing, kneeling, or squatting
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Frequent exposure to dust, noise, tools, ladders, and machinery
Must be able to work safely in various weather conditions and heights
Regular use of hand and power tools
Minimal may require occasional inter-site support
