Job Title: Journeyman Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians for a groundbreaking project in Red Oak, Texas. This role involves working in an industrial and commercial setting, focusing on the installation, integration, and start-up of Prefab modular data centers. The project is expected to last for three months, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to a first-of-its-kind venture.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain the electrical components of industrial equipment.

  • Work individually or as part of a team to complete projects successfully.

  • Follow safety procedures and adhere to electrical codes.

  • Interpret technical documents accurately for proper execution of tasks.

  • Conduct quality assurance measures and inspections.

  • Ensure all administrative processes, including torque sheets and tool inventory tracking, are completed.

  • Promote a 'Safety first' culture by implementing safety policies and conducting necessary safety audits.

Essential Skills

  • Industrial and commercial electrical experience.

  • Ability to understand schematics and other technical documents.

  • Experience in conduit bending and installation of large cables.

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work on ladders.

  • OSHA10 and/or OSHA30 certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

  • Associate degree or trade school certification in a related field.

  • Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent journeyman experience.

  • Knowledgeable in pertinent electrical codes and regulations.

Work Environment

The role is based in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment. It requires adherence to safety protocols, the ability to work physically demanding tasks such as standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and sitting for extended periods. Overtime is available based on business volume.

This is a Contract position based out of Red Oak, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.00/hr.
