What You Will Do:

As a right of way project manager, you would manage projects for multiple types of right of way projects with an emphasis on transmission, gas, and renewable energy.

Services provided on our right of way projects would include project management, meeting clients and design staff, title investigations, offer presentation and negotiation services. In addition, the person in this position would research property ownership, set up files, notarize documents, draft conveyance documents and obtain mortgage releases. This position requires business development with existing and potentially new clients.

What You Will Bring:

• Associate's degree in business, planning, survey, real estate, communications, law, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in right-of-way project management, with a focus on transmission and energy projects.
• Knowledge, experience and contacts in right of way work related to transmission, gas, renewable energy, and transportation.
• Skill in conflict resolution includes the ability to address differences of opinions or facts and use the most appropriate method to reach an effective solution.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, communicate and document effectively, handle large volumes of work.
• Extensive experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming obstacles in project execution.
• High level of adaptability and resilience in fast-paced and evolving work environments.
• Commitment to fostering positive relationships with stakeholders and contributing to long-term organizational success.
• Willingness to travel within Minnesota, North Dakota and to out-state projects.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of acquisition and relocation procedures under the Uniform Relocation Act.
• Experience with GIS, Microsoft Office Products and various databases.

Preferred Qualifications:

• IRWA Member
• IRWA SR/WA designation
• Real Estate license in Minnesota or North Dakota
