Architectural Drafter/Designer

Silverpeak Engineering is seeking a talented, detail-oriented Architectural Drafter/Designer to join our team working on a variety of commercial, educational, residential, and hospitality projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and project management skills and will bring the ability to represent the firm and participate in the production of projects through all phases of design and construction.

Work with clients and engineers to draft, review, and complete drawings plan sets

Communicate designs to client as directed by project manager

Periodically prepare information regarding design, structure, specifications, materials, and colors

Coordinate with mechanical/electrical engineers engaged in producing drawings and specification documents

Consult with clients to ensure their functional and spatial requirements are met

Work on site design issue resolution and coordination may also be required

Minimum of 2 years of commercial construction drafting experience

Proven ability in coordinating design documents for construction

Demonstrable proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit

Experience in plan development

Working knowledge of building codes and other design codes

Proven ability to work on a team designing and preparing construction documents for projects

Project delivery experience working directly with clients

Strong written and verbal communication skills and comfortable interacting with clients

Must be self-directed, motivated, and detail-oriented

$18.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience
