The Project Manager's role is to:
- Plan and execute cleaning jobs related to construction cleaning, janitorial cleaning, and property maintenance - ensuring the proper use of tools and chemicals to avoid damaging surfaces.
- Manage cleaning crews so they are productive and understand their job
- Make sure jobs are completed within budget and remain profitable.
- Negotiate when needed.
- Handle conflicts with clients and employees, as needed.
- Submit detailed daily work reports to clients
- Build relationships with clients.
- Visit job sites to meet with current or potential clients.
- Be willing to drive a lot. Jobs can be all over Utah
The Project Manager's Responsibilities are:
- Plan, Schedule, and Manage the successful execution of cleaning jobs.
- Manage and resolve conflicts with clients and employees.
- Willing to learn and help in different areas of the company if needed.
- Willing and able to learn how to run and operate any equipment related to cleaning.
- Submit weekly billing reports.
- Submit daily work reports
- Help train other employees.
- Scheduling jobs and making sure we have proper staffing for each project.
- Visit construction sites and get construction plans to provide bids to potential clients.
- Assist in getting building owner information to give bids on janitorial maintenance.
- Make sure we follow contracts with clients.
- Assist in quality control at job sites.
- Assist in getting all paperwork necessary to clients.
- Assist in delivering and picking up equipment at job sites.
- Good Planning and Organizational Skills
- Knowledge of cleaning processes and procedures, especially when it comes to specialized equipment
- Strong communication and management skills
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships
- Ability to be a self-starter
- Be able to proactively find work to do in slow periods
- Keep a detailed and organized schedule
- Be assertive and confident when working in difficult situations
- Ability to transition between desk-work and hands-on work frequently
- Able to adapt and learn
- Able to handle high stress - please do not consider applying if you have a hard time handling conflict and dealing with stress. This job includes managing and coordinating tight deadlines that constantly change. There are always conflicts to resolve.
