General Laborer Job Description We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to support a short-term construction project focused on building a bank in Ontario, CA. The project is expected to last 4-5 weeks. The ideal candidate will have prior experience on construction sites and be comfortable assisting with finish carpentry tasks, material staging, and site cleanup. Responsibilities Assist with finish carpentry tasks, including handling crown molding. Perform basic measurements and use hand/power tools. Stage and move long or awkward materials. Maintain a clean and organized job site. Support other trades and follow directions from site leadership. Essential Skills Previous construction site experience. Strong initiative and reliability. Positive attitude and high character. Willingness to help and stay attentive. Additional Skills & Qualifications Skilled in basic carpentry or finish work is a plus. The schedule follows a 4/10 format from Monday to Thursday. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory, including steel-toe boots, pants, a hard hat, a safety vest, and safety glasses. Candidates must arrive clean and ready to work, and are required to track time and expenses. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Chula Vista, California.
