Artisan Bakery Apprentice

The baker's apprentice will learn how to mix, shape, and bake all of our breads at HAWK & SPARROW. As the name of this position implies, this person will be interested in learning about bread production, preferably as a potential career. This job requires early mornings, physical exertion, creative troubleshooting, attention to detail, and high quality standards.

Hours: Tues - Sat; 6:00am - 1:30pm

Wage: $18 - $22/hr, depending on experience; aggressive raises based on performance. Free bread!

Other Requirements: Must be 18 or older

Duties:

• Mixing, shaping, and baking
• Ingredient/baking preparation
• Daily and repeated lifting up to 50 lbs
• Operation of commercial mixers, bread slicers, and ovens
