Main Line Excavator Operator

We are seeking experienced Main Line Excavator Operators to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating 320-349 sized excavators and be skilled in working around existing utilities, using trench boxes, and handling deep excavations. This role requires the ability to read plans, set and shoot grades, and align pipe runs accurately. Bilingual proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Operate 320-349 sized excavators efficiently and safely at various construction sites.
  • Work around existing utilities with precision to avoid damage.
  • Use trench boxes and perform deep excavations safely and effectively.
  • Read and interpret construction plans to execute tasks accurately.
  • Set and shoot grades, ensuring precise excavation and alignment.
  • Align pipe runs according to project specifications.
  • Maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures while on the job.
  • Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other team members.
  • Assist with other duties as needed to support construction activities.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience operating 320-349 sized excavators.
  • Proficiency in working around existing utilities, using trench boxes, and handling deep excavations.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
  • Skills in setting and shooting grades, and aligning pipe runs.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
