We are seeking an organized and proactive Project Manager to oversee projects and ensure their successful completion.
Job Summary
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing residential and commercial construction projects from start to finish. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver projects on time and within scope.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and oversee construction projects from initiation through completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal crews to ensure timely completion.
- Review project plans, specifications, and contracts for accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and process change orders, RFIs, and other project documentation.
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to clients and leadership.
- Ensure work is completed in compliance with building codes, safety standards, and quality expectations.
- Identify and resolve project issues or delays in a timely manner.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in construction project management.
- Proven experience with both residential and commercial projects.
- Background in scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor management.
Skills
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Education
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent experience in construction project management will be considered.
