Electrical Drafter

Were looking for a full-time Electrical Drafter to join our small, collaborative engineering team. This is a remote position/in-office, so you can work from anywhere while contributing to meaningful building design projects.

As an Electrical Drafter, youll help create electrical plans, assist with power distribution design, and contribute to the development of safe, effective power systems. Youll work closely with mechanical and electrical engineers, drafting professionals, and project managers to bring designs to life.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of electrical design drawings and plans
• Support power distribution and lighting design for commercial and residential projects
• Coordinate with engineers and other disciplines to ensure project accuracy and consistency
• Review design documents to ensure code compliance and client requirements
• Contribute to the production of construction documents using tools like Revit and AutoCAD
• Learn and apply relevant codes and standards (NEC, IECC, and local building codes)

Qualifications

• A basic understanding of electrical systems and power distribution.
• Interest in building design and construction projects
• Experience with design tools like Revit, AutoCAD, Visual, or AGI32.
• Comfortable working in a team and asking questions when needed
• A problem-solver whos curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
• Any experience in the construction or engineering industry is a bonus
