Under the general direction of the Project Managers, the Project Coordinator is responsible for managing, organizing, and tracking multiple project activities simultaneously. This is a critical position that ensures timely project completion that is within budget and meets company standards. The Project Coordinator exercises considerable initiative and independent judgement while assessing project activities, drawing conclusions, negotiating, managing logistics, and recommending the best course of action to achieve desired results.

Responsibilities
  • Support the management and coordination of project plans, schedules, flow of information, documentation, budgts, and expenditures
  • Create and follow-up on bid and estimate job tracking charts for Project Managers, experience preferred.
  • Partner with manufacturers and their representatives in order to resolve discrepancies such as missing or incorrect orders, ship dates, deliveries, unshipped freight, and returned equipment.
  • Manage logistics for the shipping and delivery of equipment for inbound, outbound, and offsite.
  • Negotiating freight claims, experience preferred.
  • Preparing and tracking sales agreements, experience preferred.
Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Must be able to work independently while handling multiple priorities and responsibilities.
  • Must have strong problem-solving, time management, organization, and customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Work Location: Melville, NY | In-Office

Compensation: $65+ (Depending on Exp)
