Summary: Seeking an Electronics Technician for assembly, testing, and verification of RF systems in space-based communications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; relevant experience may be substituted.

  • 8+ years of direct technical experience with electronic systems.

  • Proficiency in soldering and rework, including surface mount assembly under a microscope.

  • Familiarity with electrical and RF schematics.

Preferred Skills:

  • J-STD or NASA soldering certification with space addendum preferred.

  • IPC or NASA harnessing certification preferred.

  • Experience with antennas, antenna measurements, and RF/microwave circuits.

  • Familiarity with schematic and layout design in Altium Designer.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide input for work instructions and procedures for electronics soldering, assembly, and testing.

  • Perform complex soldering and rework with proficiency in handling various package types.

  • Build and test multi-wire cable harnesses, develop ICDs, conduct verification testing.

  • Participate in assembly and testing of RF electronics hardware.

  • Troubleshoot using TMDE such as network analyzers and oscilloscopes.

Pay: 30-40

Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
