Postdoc Associate - Construction Management and Technology Appointment Type: Post Doc/Trainee Job Description:

The Institute for Transportation (InTrans) is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to support ongoing research and scholarly activities within its Construction Management and Technology program.

Responsibilities include assisting with r esearch projects and project management well as the guidance of students working on other research projects

Required Minimum Qualifications: PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in Construction Engineering

  • Experience conducting construction and utility research

  • Experience in utility engineering research


Department/Program & College Description:

InTrans administers 14 centers and programs and several other distinct research specialties, and a variety of technology transfer and professional education initiatives. More than 100 Iowa State University faculty and staff work at InTrans, and from 200 to 250 student assistants from several ISU departments conduct research while working closely with university faculty. InTrans began in 1983 as a technical assistance program for Iowas rural transportation agencies
