As a Junior Draftsman, you will play a key role in bringing engineering ideas to life. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed drawings and layouts from engineering specifications, laying the foundation for successful project executions.
• Collaborate actively with senior draftsmen and engineers to ensure precision and accuracy in all design plans.
• Update and modify existing drawings as required, adapting to project changes and new information seamlessly.
• Interpret and rigorously follow established drafting standards and procedures to maintain consistency and quality.
• Participate in project meetings, contributing your insights to resolve design issues and improve project outcomes.
• Ensure all drawings and designs comply with the highest industry standards, guaranteeing the quality and reliability of our projects.
• Maintain meticulous records and databases of all drafted materials, ensuring information integrity and accessibility.

Qualifications

Required Education:

• Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and 0 years related experience.

Desired Education:

• A Bachelor's degree in drafting, engineering, or a related field, with 2 years of relevant experience. Four years of experience will be accepted in lieu of degree

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Visio, demonstrating your capability in technical drawing.
• A basic understanding of engineering principles and design standards, enabling you to create accurate and functional designs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring every drawing you produce meets our high standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints, translating complex ideas into detailed plans.
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn new drafting techniques, ensuring your continuous growth and development.

Clearance:

• An active DoD Top Secret clearance with the ability to acquire SCI access within three months of the start date.
