We're looking for a Project Manager (Architect/Engineer) to lead design and construction projects for the U.S. Postal Service's Facilities Repair & Alterations organization. If you're an engineering or architectural professional who thrives on bringing order, structure, and technical know-how to high-impact facility projects, this is your chance to shape the future of a mission-critical organization.
What You'll Do
Lead small design and construction projects (minor construction, facility repairs, HVAC/electrical system upgrades).
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and USPS teams to deliver projects on time and on budget.
Provide expert technical guidance, feasibility studies, and cost analyses to resolve project challenges.
Draft RFPs, review bids, and manage contractors from kickoff through final acceptance.
Conduct inspections and oversee progress to ensure compliance with USPS standards.
What We're Looking For
Degree in Architecture, Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical), or Construction Management (ABET-accredited for engineering).
3-7 years' experience in commercial facility maintenance or construction project management.
Skilled in project scheduling, contractor oversight, and technical documentation.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Flexible and willing to travel. Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
