WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Prepare start packages for residential pool construction projects
  • Support the Purchasing Supervisor with pricing, estimating, and maintaining supplier lists
  • Coordinate revised pricing with contractors and assist Pool Construction Managers with start package pricing and coding
  • Generate and review purchase orders, including variance orders, and resolve field purchasing issues
  • Collaborate with the supervisor to process pool permits with the county and regulatory agencies
  • Assist in creating pool closing packages for clients

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Residential home builder purchasing experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and customer service skills
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with database systems is desired; NewStar experience is a plus!

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • General sedentary work requiring the use of office equipment such as computers, copiers, printers, scanners, and telephones
  • Position requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, grasping, writing, typing, repetitive motions, hearing ability, visual acuity, and climbing stairs on occasion
  • May occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
