Summary An experienced electrician supporting the operation, maintenance, and improvement of all site facilities and manufacturing equipment and infrastructure. Job Description Essential Responsibilities Work without direction on standard preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, & extensive repairs and installations. Diagnose problems, plan and complete work required, identify and order parts. Install, modify, troubleshoot, test, and repair electrical systems up to 600V. Familiarity with electrical motors and control circuits, & lighting systems. Strong electrical fundamental and safety knowledge (electrical schematics, NFPA 79, NFPA 70e, LOTO) Electrical installation of machine tools, process equipment and facilities related equipment. Run conduit, replace fuses, wire machines and equipment to power, test, and startup. Requirements AAS degree in Electrical Construction Technology OR Military Advanced Electrical Training Courses OR Certified Electrical Journeyman credentials from an approved apprenticeship program Must be willing to work out of an office located in Niskayuna, NY Legal Authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Desired Characteristics: 3 years work experience in Manufacturing Facility in an electrical maintenance role Ability to apply knowledge of components, devices and equipment used in industrial equipment applications and the related electrical components including AC and DC motors, motor controls, electronic drives, lighting & alarm systems. The hourly pay range for this position $36.19-$43.30 USD per hour. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. This posting is expected to close on March 1st, 2025.
