Your Role and Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of HVAC and plumbing projects across various commercial sectors. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing 10-20 commercial projects annually, typically ranging from $500k to $1M, including tenant improvements, retrofits, new construction, and design-build projects.
- Collaborating with estimators, engineers, and field teams to analyze project requirements, evaluate bids, and ensure accurate cost and time estimates.
- Overseeing all phases of project execution, maintaining timelines, budgets, and customer satisfaction, while managing up to $3M in annual revenue with full P&L responsibility.
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, crafting proposals, addressing project needs, and expanding market presence in the commercial sector.
- Staying informed on energy codes, industry trends, and new technologies to enhance project outcomes and maintain industry relevance.
- Facilitating communication and teamwork across divisions, including subcontractors and union teams, to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications We're Looking For:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with HVAC and/or plumbing systems, blueprint reading, and specification review is a plus.
- Eagerness to Learn: A drive to expand skills and grow within the industry.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills and accuracy in all aspects of work.
