AutoCAD Drafter in Kearny,NJ,US

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Drafter (Plant 3D) Key Responsibilities: Create and revise detailed 2D/3D CAD drawings, including FEED, elevation, plan views, and isometrics. Conduct field audits to verify dimensions and ensure drawing accuracy. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure compliance with construction and regulatory standards. Evaluate constructability of layouts and suggest alternatives when needed. Maintain and update drawing packages in accordance with technical standards. Interface with internal and external stakeholders throughout project execution. Update drafting standards and ensure proper documentation in the company's filing system. Support projects across multiple plant locations (CT, DE, NJ). Required Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D is mandatory. Strong 2D/3D drafting skills; experience with Autodesk AutoCAD and optionally Revit. Solid understanding of process equipment and engineering design practices. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Project. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to conduct site visits and work in plant environments. Must pass a 10-panel drug screen and background check per TSA TWIC standards. Education & Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent from a technical school. Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, work on elevated surfaces, and pass a respirator fit test. Comfortable working in varying climate and weather conditions.
