Solar Site Construction Manager needed for a Large EPC firm. This person will be responsible for large scale solar construction across the country. The Construction Manager will direct field operations, manage subcontractors and site staff, and serve as the primary on-site representative for clients, inspectors, and company leadership. This position requires extensive travel to project sites nationwide. 10+ years of experience with at least 5 in large scale solar field projects is required. Bachelors degree in related field is required.

responsibilities:
  • Lead day-to-day site construction activities for utility-scale solar projects (50 MW+).

  • Oversee safety performance, ensuring strict compliance with company and OSHA standards.

  • Direct and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to achieve project milestones.

  • Develop and maintain site construction schedules, resource plans, and manpower requirements.

  • Monitor project costs, productivity, and quality; report regularly to project leadership.

  • Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to resolve technical or logistical challenges.

  • Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily field reports.

  • Represent the company on-site in interactions with clients, inspectors, local authorities, and community stakeholders.

  • Oversee site mobilization, logistics, equipment usage, and material handling.

  • Support commissioning and turnover activities, ensuring successful project closeout.

  • Mentor and develop site supervision staff and craft personnel.
