Job Description The Regional Project Coordinator (RPC) will serve as a critical bridge between customer care and operations within the Houston region. This role is designed to enhance the customer experience by ensuring timely communication and seamless project execution. The RPC will be responsible for facilitating faster response times to customers, managing escalations, and ensuring that all process updates and changes are communicated effectively across teams. This position will play a key role in improving internal communication and ensuring that operations run smoothly from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Communication & Escalation Management: Act as a direct liaison between the operations team and customers, ensuring timely updates and responses. Assist with managing and resolving escalated customer concerns, collaborating with the Regional Operations Manager (ROM) and Assistant Regional Operations Manager (AROM). Follow up on project progress, ensuring that all updates are provided to customers in a clear and timely manner.
Operations Process Management: Stay up-to-date with changes in processes, including phrasing, new equipment updates, and any internal escalations or adjustments. Ensure the smooth implementation of operational changes, assisting crews and operations with adapting to new systems or equipment.
Project Tracking & Coordination: Work closely with the ROM and AROM to track project timelines, milestones, and any issues that arise during the solar installation process. Provide feedback and insights to both operations and customer care to facilitate continuous improvement.
Crews Collaboration & Knowledge Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with the installation crews to ensure efficient communication and collaboration. Continuously learn the evolving solar process, staying updated on best practices and regional developments.
Training & Development: Participate in operations-led training to understand the ins and outs of the solar installation process in Houston. Utilize this knowledge to provide informed responses to customers and assist with troubleshooting any challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in project coordination, customer service, or operations preferred. Ability to build rapport with both customers and internal teams. Knowledge of solar installation processes or construction project management is a plus. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle escalations effectively.
