This role requires problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to continuous learning and sharing expertise with others. Responsibilities Dismantle, move, install, or repair machinery and mechanical equipment. Examine machinery or mechanical equipment to identify reasons for malfunction and complete necessary repairs and maintenance. Use hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments to repair and maintain production and ancillary equipment. Clean plant facilities, equipment, and work areas as required. Install new equipment and systems, and repair and maintain current equipment and systems as needed. Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies. Follow established safety and environmental policies and procedures, promoting continuous improvement of safety and environmental performance in the workplace. Perform special program tasks, such as annual and semi-annual preventive maintenance. Assist with training and instruction for production-related equipment to operators. Essential Skills Advanced mechanical skills with training. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze information. Technical skills with a focus on continuous improvement and development. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Reasoning skills to apply common sense understanding to written, oral, or diagram instructions. Electrical troubleshooting skills, preferably with advanced training in industrial electricity. Basic machine shop and welding skills. Good communication, math, and organizational skills. Willingness to work in all environments. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with troubleshooting, maintenance technician tasks, electrical and mechanical repair. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and blueprint/schematic interpretation. Proficiency with hand tools and working in an industrial production setting. Why Work Here?
