Project Architect

Tria is looking to add a highly motivated Project Architect to work with one of our Project Managers on a variety of project types and to grow within the firm. The primary role of this position will be to:

• Help the Project Manager lead projects
• Coordinate efforts of project team (including engineers)
• Work with project manager during design phases
• Perform code analysis and review of projects
• Create construction and permit drawings
• Create project specifications
• Coordinate team efforts during the Bidding and Negotiations phase
• Review shop drawings and construction submittals
• Attend construction progress meetings and perform punch-lists during the Construction Administration phase

The position requires:

• 6-10 years of Full Time Architectural Experience
• Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Architecture
• Highly motivated individual able to help manage a small team as well as work independently
• High Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of building codes
• Experience with commercial masonry building construction and non-residential project types required, experience with public bid projects a plus
• Experience with specification writing
• Licensed or nearly licensed
• An eagerness to learn and to take a leadership role within the firm
