Summary:

  • Reports to Construction Manager / VP
  • Manage all activities related to management of HVAC / Plumbing construction projects.
  • Travel and overnight stay may be required.
  • 5 years minimum experience working in this position
  • Four year University degree or 2 year technical training plus 7 year related experience.
  • References on completed mechanical / plumbing contracts $5 to $15 million dollars

    • Salary is negotiable based on experience and abilities

    • Vacation: 40 hours after initial date of hire (1st year only), Jan 1st following initial date of hire - 40 hours; Jan 1st following 1st year anniversary date of hire - 80 hours; Jan 1st following 5th year anniversary date of hire - 120 hours.
    • Insurance offered includes health, dental, vision, life, long term disability, short term disability and several AFLAC products including cancer.

Basic Description:

  • Has overall responsibility for the success of individual projects
  • Works in partnership with our Project Superintendent
  • Supports the estimating team to identify cost associated with normal work activities and unique conditions.
  • Takes the lead in detailing planning of the project including safety, material, equipment, personnel, and support requirements, scheduling, communication, BIM drawings, spool drawings, and prefabrication.
  • Provides organization, technical and interpersonal skills to ensure that our contractual obligations are fulfilled in a safe , quality, professional manner
  • Manages administrative staff, corporate resources and assigned project support personnel involved with a specific project.
  • Responsible for purchasing, submittal and approvals, cost control, coordination, and subcontract management.
  • Responsible for final inspections, commissioning, final collections and close of assigned projects.
  • Under the guidance of Business Development, plays a key role in developing and maintaining positive relations with our clients.
  • Has experience in healthcare, commercial and industrial construction
  • Is able to work in design build assist and design build environment.
  • Responsible to make job site inspection to ensure systems are installed per plans, details, specifications and submittals
  • Coordinate and assist in the commissioning process
